Sansevieria 'Tom Grumbley' L.E. Newton, new cultivar name

The following information is based on the description written by Leonard E. Newton as published in Sansevieria 1 (2001).

Stoloniferous leaf-succulent perennial, forming a loose clump 1 meter or more in diameter.
Leaves 6-10, rosulate, spreading and the lower ones becoming recurved, to 18 cm long, laterally compressed, 1 cm wide at base, 1.3 cm thick, with prominent channel on upper side, on most leaves extending from the base to within 2-3 cm of the apex, the channel rounded with acute margin, to 1 cm wide at base, becoming narrower towards the apex, the blade a very pale whitish green with narrow transverse bands of mid-green and up to 8 dark green longitudinal furrows, margin of channel red-brown with whitish flange, the apex a pungent pale brown spine.
