Robert Streul:
This cultivar originated from Shadow Lane Nursery in Plantation, Florida. The plant starts its growth with leaves of a dark green color centers, and bordered on both sides by a stripe of moss-green color, all overlayed by a greenish-gray crossbanding.
This plant descends from 'Laurentii' and occasionally there will be longitudinal stripes of the same moss-green color along the center of the leaf. The growth form is like that of Sansevieria trifasciata but seems to grow thicker at the bottom of the leaves. This is a quite stable cultivar and does not seem to readily revert to S. trifasciata, although leaf cuttings will consistently produce trifasciata offshoots.
