Vrisea splenreit is commonly called the Flaming Sword.
Yellow flowers on a flaming red bract. The red bract lasts for many weeks but flowers only last a day or two. Once flowering has finished the plant goes into a decline and one or two offshoots are produced. Provide bright light but not direct sun which can burn the leaves. |
